COME TO THE VILLAGE FETE!

On Sunday July 2nd, from 1 pm to 6 pm, we will host the Village Fete at Swafield Hall (arguably the best village fete in North Norfolk!). Those who have been to the Village Fete at Swafield Hall could tell you: it’s a really fabulous event, which combines the serene atmosphere of a beautiful garden, relaxing live music and renewed traditional village fete activities.
This year we’ll have a “70’s extravaganza” theme with prizes for the best 1970’s costume & dance moves!
You can enjoy the beautiful open garden (part of the National Garden Scheme’s collection of gardens), consult a Fortune Teller, listen to great live music on the Main Lawn Stage, visit the Licensed Bar under the old oak tree, eat BBQ hotdogs, burgers or sausages from Tavern Tasty Meat, enter your dog in the Fun Dog Show, have antiques valued by Mike Hicks, taste a wide selection of delicious homemade teas and cakes – the best recipes from the local ladies & gents, play at the side shows, catch a fortune-duck in the fish pond or play target golf…. and much more!

Entries on the day. Judging from 2:30pm.

Ample parking from 1 pm available in the paddock opposite Beeches Farmhouse. Disabled passenger drop-off in front of the Hall.  There is a limited amount of disabled parking in the courtyard for blue-badge drivers.

For centuries Swafield Hall traditionally hosted village fairs and other events on it’s grounds, on the Main Lawn. This tradition was revived in 2018, and since then, the Village Fete at Swafield Hall has gained the reputation as the must see event of the summer in North Norfolk.
